Metrology Laboratory Engineer

Job Description

• Regular calibration of 3D scanners and ensuring measurement accuracy.
• Conducting 3D scanner tests and measurements, as well as analyzing and documenting the test results.
• Maintaining and updating calibration and test documentation (e.g., calibration certificates, test results, and operating instructions).
• Ensuring quality control and data quality during calibration and testing processes.
• Optimizing and automating calibration and testing procedures to increase efficiency and precision.
• Performing regular maintenance and upkeep of calibration, testing, and laboratory equipment.

Job Requirements

• bachelor’s or master’s degree in the natural sciences or engineering.
• Experience in operating, calibrating, and testing 3D scanners.
•  Knowledge of optimizing and automating testing and calibration processes is desirable.
• An independent, structured, and meticulous work style with a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to work well in a team, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Very good English or German language skills; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
• Base location: Stuttgart, Germany.
