SHINING 3D Reports Robust Growth and Breakthrough Innovations in 2024

SHINING 3D has published its 2024 annual review, providing an overview of its revenue growth, R\&D progress, and global operations over the past year.

In 2024, SHINING 3D made continued progress in the global 3D vision technology sector, focusing on innovation and international development while achieving steady business growth and strategic expansion. 

 

Business Performance and R&D Investment

SHINING 3D achieved revenue of 1.202 billion yuan in 2024, an 18.07% increase year-on-year; overseas revenue grew by 28.65% compared with the previous year.

 

SHINING 3D maintained a long-term strategic commitment to R&D. R&D investment accounted for more than 25% of annual revenue, and R&D personnel made up over 40% of total staff. As of 31 December 2024, the company held 420 authorised patents, including 237 invention patents (with 50 granted overseas), and 211 software copyrights. In addition, 454 invention patents were under review (352 domestic and 102 international), reflecting ongoing technical innovation.

 

Innovation Achievements

During the year, SHINING 3D made breakthroughs in technology, releasing the world’s first intraoral photogrammetry (IPG) technology, offering a high-accuracy solution for edentulous implant applications.

The company also launched a series of new optical 3D measuring and dynamic tracking system integrating portable wireless tracking and large-format handheld laser scanning, enhancing the precision and efficiency of large-scale industrial part inspection.

Several wireless all-in-one 3D scanners were also released during the year, featuring multiple scanning modes and redefining expectations for scanning flexibility and ease of use.

Global Deployment Deepens

SHINING 3D continued to expand its global localised service capacity. The new office was established in Tokyo, Japan, enhancing response speed and service capability for international markets and strengthening connections with users worldwide.

Meanwhile, the company completed the construction of a new R&D and industrialisation base, expanding facilities for R&D, testing, and manufacturing. As of now, the company’s headquarters in Hangzhou has a total operational area of approximately 140,000 square metres.
