SHINING 3D and PolyWorks® Strengthen Integration with FreeScan Plugin

SHINING 3D, a global provider of 3D digitization solutions, is pleased to announce that with the latest release of PolyWorks, the platform now officially supports direct integration with SHINING 3D’s metrology handheld 3D scanners. This compatibility is aligned with SHINING 3D’s latest software version FreeScan 2.1.1.6 and marks a new level of interoperability between the two companies’ solutions.

For years, SHINING 3D software has enabled users to integrate PolyWorks for downstream inspection and analysis. With the IR4 release, this connection now works both ways: PolyWorks® users can launch and operate SHINING 3D’s scanning software directly from within the PolyWorks® environment. This improvement eliminates extra steps, creating a smoother workflow and offering manufacturers greater efficiency in their 3D measurement processes.
