SHINING 3D Metrology Introduces New Product Members Through Four Manufacturing Scenarios
SHINING 3D Metrology will host its upcoming metrology webinar, “New Product Members of SHINING 3D Metrology”, on September 9. The webinar will introduce three upgraded product members and explore how manufacturers can choose the right 3D scanning solution through four representative manufacturing scenarios.
Rather than focusing solely on specifications, the session will look at real application challenges and show how different requirements can lead to different scanning solutions.
Three New Product Members, Built on Proven Platforms
The latest additions build on established product platforms and take their proven strengths further.
FreeScan Combo+ Wireless keeps the qualities that made the previous-generation FreeScan Combo Series stand out, including its compact size, lightweight design, and dual light sources. The new generation adds a completely wireless workflow and significantly improved scanning performance, bringing greater flexibility to applications such as automotive sheet metal inspection.
FreeScan Trak Nova+ takes the innovative all-in-one concept of the original FreeScan Trak Nova even further. Combining dynamic tracking with handheld scanning, the new generation delivers higher performance and expanded scanning capabilities, including up to 7.6 million points/s and multiple laser scanning modes. The webinar will demonstrate its application in server manufacturing and inspection.
FreeScan Trak ProW+ continues the large-scale scanning capability of FreeScan Trak ProW Series while introducing a redesigned scanner structure and a more convenient power solution. Its capabilities also open up new possibilities for automated inspection in automotive manufacturing.

Four Manufacturing Scenarios, One Selection Challenge
The webinar will explore four representative scenarios:
-
Automotive sheet metal: flexible inspection with FreeScan Combo+ Wireless
-
Server manufacturing: efficient scanning and inspection with FreeScan Trak Nova+
-
Automotive manufacturing: large-scale and automated inspection with FreeScan Trak Pro W+
-
Precision Components: high-precision measurement with OptimScan Q Series
Together, these scenarios demonstrate that choosing a 3D scanner is not simply about comparing specifications. The right solution depends on the size and complexity of the application, measurement requirements, inspection environment, and production workflow.
The session will feature product introductions, real-world application demonstrations, customer stories, and a live Q&A with SHINING 3D Metrology experts.
