Application Engineer - Metrology

Base: Korea - Seoul

Job Description

Perform installation, training, demo, and support for customers (in‑house and on‑site). Support sales team with product recommendations for customer applications that enhance business efficiency.
Stay updated on competitor information and market trends.
Cooperate with sales team to identify potential leads and opportunities.
Serve as SHINING 3D’s primary technical contact for troubleshooting, maintenance, and service.
Represent SHINING 3D at webinars, virtual events, and trade shows when applicable.
Deliver high‑precision 3D scanning solutions for industrial metrology applications in the Korean market.
Travel required up to 40% to support above responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in metrology, mechanical engineering, quality control, or 3D inspection.
Minimum 2 years technical experience (3D scanner, CMM, CAD/CAM, or metrology software is a plus).
Ability to interpret engineering drawings for dimensional control; GD&T experience a plus.
Professional demeanor and confidence in group presentations.
Self‑motivated, able to work independently and alongside sales/management teams.
Fluency in Korean and English.
