This case is one of the successful 3D digitizing projects undertaken by Shining3D, the Han Dynasty statue from Maoling Museum in Shanxi Province. Through the process of data collection of “Han 16 items”, the most difficult part should be the scanning of Crouching Ox, and then to make glass crafts in the same size. These glass crafts will be shown in 2011 Xi'an International Horticultural Exhibition together with the original statue. This project is completely undertaken by Shining3D. The scanning object is a statue called Crouching Ox from Han Dynasty. It is 260cms long and 160cms wide, this statue is with an expression of serenity and tranquility by looking back, showing its great characteristic of tough working, honesty and simplicity. Widely opening eyes, big breathing nose and full lips make the ox more real and vivid. Twisting limbs, clear hoof fully present its moderate and strong. All the features of this Crouching Ox just represents Guanzhong Qinchuan cattle's figure. |
